I am a Research Engineer at Telecom-Paris, France, hosted by Prof. Marceau Coupechoux since Nov-2018. I am currently working on transceiver design for mission-critical communication (MCC) in a partnership project between Telecom Paris and the french SME ETELM. This project's main objective is to develop robust and secure transceivers for MCC and facilitate overall range extension. The other part of my research at Telecom-Paris include Machine learning for Wireless Communication.
I received a Bachelor in Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Pune University, Pune, India in 2010, and Masters in Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Mumbai University, Mumbai, India, in 2013. During my master's, I was associated with the SAMEER research lab at IIT Bombay as a research trainee for a year-long project. Afterward, I pursued a PhD in Wireless Communication, with a focus on millimeter-wave (mmW) communication, from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad, India, where I was supervised by Prof. P. Ubaidulla. I have submitted my thesis and looking forward to my defense by Spring-2021.
Overall, my work mainly focuses on the physical layer design of large-scale wireless networks at different complexities of communication to achieve optimization, robustness, secrecy, and low hardware/computational complexity.
